Uplift Designs was created by John Groberg. John has been an avid student of spiritual/personal growth for over 20 years. He has studied extensively the spiritual texts of many of the worlds' great religions as well as many of the greatest philosophers, poets and writers of both ancient and modern times. John maintains a website www.johngroberg.com  where he writes on many topics related to spiritual growth, but always with an eye towards making spiritual growth practical and real in our busy everyday lives.

Our Messages

From all of this, combined with his own life "experiments",  John has distilled many of the greatest spiritual principles and inspirational thought patterns into pithy messages that pack a real spiritual and inspirational punch. These messages  are not trite slogans or specific quotes of famous people, but rather spiritual principles that have been highly distilled into as few words as possible to convey an important uplifting message- often in quirky, thought-provoking ways designed to shake up ,wake up  and raise up our thinking. These messages are then graphically designed to make them visually interesting as well. Often the visual element compliments or even augments the impact of the words themselves.

Our Philosophy

Our thoughts, if left to themselves, like water- will seek lower ground- dragging us downward into stressful feelings of lack, anxiety, guilt, fear, despair, jealousy, anger, resentment and ingratitude- in other words- HELL ON EARTH!   What can reverse this downward spiral is often as simple as seeing an inspirational message that knocks us off our downward slide, grabs our attention and pulls our thoughts to higher ground. As our thoughts move to higher ground, so will our perspective and our feelings- we'll literally see more clearly and feel better just by thinking better thoughts. Many people think of heaven and hell as places we go after we die as a reward or punishment for how we lived our lives on Earth. I have come to understand that regardless of what happens after we shed our physical bodies, heaven and hell are very real right here and right now on Earth. They are not places so much as states of being either more unified or more separate from God in the way we think and see the world. Uplift Designs was created to help us all raise the level of our thinking to be more unified with God and thus to live more of our lives in heaven and less in hell.
